Jennifer Sheeny Skeffington

Assistant professor  (LSE) & International collaborator

I am interested in basic relational cognition, and in the interface of psychology and society. My current research looks at the impact of power, inequality, and socioeconomic status on psychological processes (such as executive functioning, motivation, and self-regulation), and how this plays out in decision-making, social mobility, and conflict. I am also interested in the origins and development of our fundamental social cognition, drawing on social dominance and relational models theories.
